Time Variant Interval Linear Programming for Environmental Management Systems

چکیده

Optimization technology is widely applied to maximize economic profit under ecology constrains in environmental management systems. To tackle the inherent uncertainties, inexact optimization methods have been proposed. Interval linear program- ming (ILP) model has drawn increasing scholarly attention. ILP describe uncertainty by one coarse scaled stochastic process. However, often involves multiple processes when zooming into high resolution. may not satisfied fine scale constraints. A time variant interval programming (TVILP) developed implement temporal downscaling, and likewise, a heuristic algorithm integrating dynamic proposed for Markov chained TVILP. Dynamic can converts complexity exponential polynomial. In current paper, performance of TVILP analyzed based on following three metrics: maximal (M_profit), constraint violation risk (CVR), path (MPR). The perfor- mance further compared with Best Worst method, classic model, contractor, Interval-parameter multi-stage programming. Experimental results reveal that provides refined solutions smaller granularity whose decision space contracts most possible transition paths. Unable obtain maxi- mum profit, though, does pose decreased risk, facilitating more feasible reliable decision-making management.

Delay-Dependent Robust Asymptotically Stable for Linear Time Variant Systems

In this paper, the problem of delay dependent robust asymptotically stable for uncertain linear time-variant system with multiple delays is investigated. A new delay-dependent stability sufficient condition is given by using the Lyapunov method, linear matrix inequality (LMI), parameterized first-order model transformation technique and transformation of the interval uncertainty in to the norm ...

First step immersion in interval linear programming with linear dependencies

‎We consider a linear programming problem in a general form and suppose that all coefficients may vary in some prescribed intervals‎. ‎Contrary to classical models‎, ‎where parameters can attain any value from the interval domains independently‎, ‎we study problems with linear dependencies between the parameters‎. ‎We present a class of problems that are easily solved by reduction to the classi...

Adaptive Tracking of Linear Time - Variant Systems

| In this paper we exploit the one-to-one correspondences between the recursive least-squares (RLS) and Kalman variables to formulate extended forms of the RLS algorithm. Two particular forms of the extended RLS algorithm are considered, one pertaining to a system identiication problem and the other pertaining to the tracking of a chirped sinusoid in additive noise. For both of these applicatio...

Interval Linear Programming with generalized interval arithmetic

Generally, vagueness is modelled by a fuzzy approach and randomness by a stochastic approach. But in some cases, a decision maker may prefer using interval numbers as coefficients of an inexact relationship. In this paper, we define a linear programming problem involving interval numbers as an extension of the classical linear programming problem to an inexact environment. By using a new simple...
